The Dsus4 guitar chord is one of those that sounds harder to play than it actually is.
If you know your basic D Major chord then all you need to do is add your little finger to fret 3 on the thinnest string. This will cancel out your middle finger, but you may as well leave that finger held down as lifting it up will only take extra effort.
Dsus4 and Dsus2 are often used as passing (brief) chords when strumming a D major. You can see how it would be easy to take away or add in fingers to a regular D to get a different sound.
Suspended Chord, 일명 서스는 메이저 코드에서 3도를 4도로 바꿔주면 된다(sus4). 쉽게 말해 코드의 3도 음에 #을 붙이면 된다는 소리. 마이너는 반음 내리고, 서스는 반음 올리면 된다.
또한 sus4 말고도 sus2가 있는데, sus 뒤에 나오는 숫자가 4라면 1, 4, 5도를 잡고, sus2라면 1, 2, 5도를 잡으면 된다. 코드 이름에 sus가 나오면 일단 3도는 포기한다고 생각하면 좋다. sus 코드는 오직 sus2와 sus4 만 있음을 잊지 말자.
만약 sus 뒤에 숫자가 없다면 sus4로 간주하면 되며, 이따금 Csus6 등의 코드가 보인다면 그것은 사실 C6sus4를 줄인 것이니 괜히 3도 대신 1, 5, 6도를 잡는 불상사가 없길 바란다. 코드 구성음은 1, 4, 5, 6도를 짚어야 한다.
