There 구문의 수 일치와 도치
| ∙There, Here 구문은 주어가 대명사가 아닌 경우에 도치를 하며, 이 때 도치된 주어와 동사의 수 일치에 유의한다. |

도치된 주어와 동사의 수 일치에 주의

무게, 시간, 금액, 액수, 거리, 가격의 수 표현은 단수
☞ There has happened a couple of earthquakes this morning. (X) ⇒ have
☞ Here pass by the last day of our vacation! (x) ⇒ passes
우리 휴가의 마지막 날도 지나가고 있군! pass by : 지나가다
☞ Here is the money I promised to pay you back.
너에게 갚기로 약속한 돈 여기 있어. pay back : ~을 갚다.
☞ There he comes; Here you are; Here you go.
(저기) 그가 오네. 자, 여기 있습니다. 다 왔습니다.
￭ There (is, are) supposed to be a coffee machine somewhere around here.
￭ There (have, has) been a few misunderstandings over the terms of the contract.
